1. Overview
The terms “we”, “us”, “our” refer to Act On This – The TV Actors’ Network Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales.
The term “Site” refers to https://www.actonthis.tv.
The terms “you”, “your”, “user” refer to any visitor, customer, member, or user of the Site or Service.
2. Our Service
Act On This provides online education, coaching, training resources, live and recorded sessions, tools (including AI-assisted tools), and community access designed to support actors in developing their careers (the “Service”).
The Service is educational in nature only. We do not offer employment, representation, casting guarantees, or income guarantees of any kind.
3. Eligibility & Use of the Site
You must be at least 16 years old to use the Site or Service.
You agree to use the Site and Service lawfully and not for any fraudulent, abusive, defamatory, or harmful purpose.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access if these Terms are breached.
4. Account Registration
To access the Service, you must create an account and provide accurate, up-to-date information.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login details and for all activity under your account.
Accounts are for single-user access only. Account sharing is strictly prohibited.
5. Educational Disclaimer
The Service provides education, insight, and guidance only.
We make no guarantees regarding auditions, roles, income, representation, or career outcomes.
Your success depends on many factors outside our control, including your actions, experience, market conditions, and third-party decisions.
6. Subscriptions, Access & Duration
Access to the Service is provided on a subscription or fixed-term basis, as described at the point of purchase.
- Monthly subscriptions provide 30 days’ access per payment cycle.
- Annual subscriptions provide 12 months’ access.
- Lifetime access refers to the lifetime of the Service, not the lifetime of the user.
If the Service or Site ceases to operate, access will end.
Access may occasionally be affected by third-party platforms, hosting providers, or software beyond our control.
7. Cancellations & Refunds
You may cancel your subscription at any time by emailing [email protected] at least 3 working days before your next billing date.
We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee on your first subscription only.
Refund requests must be submitted to [email protected].
No partial refunds are offered outside the 30-day guarantee.
After cancellation, access continues until the end of your paid period.
It is your responsibility to cancel in time to avoid further charges.
8. Community Guidelines
Access to any community spaces (including forums, groups, or live calls) is a privilege.
We reserve the right to remove content or revoke access for behaviour including (but not limited to):
- Harassment or abuse
- Defamation or discrimination
- Spamming or solicitation
- Disruptive or harmful conduct
No refunds will be issued for removals due to misconduct.
9. Intellectual Property
All Site content, training materials, videos, tools, and resources are the intellectual property of Act On This – The TV Actors’ Network Ltd.
You are granted a personal, non-transferable, single-user licence only.
You may not copy, distribute, share, reproduce, resell, or exploit any part of the Service without written permission.
Account sharing or content redistribution will result in immediate termination without refund.
10. User Content & Recordings
You retain ownership of content you submit, but grant us a worldwide, royalty-free licence to use it for operational, promotional, and educational purposes.
Live sessions, calls, and events may be recorded.
By participating, you consent to the use of your name, voice, likeness, and contributions in recordings and marketing.
11. Third-Party Links & Tools
The Service may include links or integrations with third-party tools or platforms.
We are not responsible for third-party content, availability, or policies.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by UK law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss.
Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the Service in the preceding 12 months, or £100 where no payment has been made.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot be excluded under UK law.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time.
Continued use of the Site after changes are published constitutes acceptance.
14. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
